Part of MiM's Vairaagya (detachment) Collection, the Skull-Moulded Ritual Candle is a deliberate object — myrrh and oud poured into a hand-moulded skull form. Memento mori as ritual, not aesthetic shock.
Doctor-curated, handcrafted. Created by Dr. Tanvi Kharbanda (Homoeopath) for shadow-work practitioners, tarot readers, and anyone whose ritual practice includes sitting with the harder questions.
The ritual. Light during transformation work — endings, new moons, intentional letting-go practices, Halloween or Samhain ceremonies. Myrrh and oud are both classical resins of grounding and reflection.
What's in the candle:
- Hand-moulded skull form (each one slightly different)
- Soy + beeswax blend
- Myrrh + oud essential-oil blend (deep, smoky, resinous)
- Cotton wick
- Burn time: ~25 hours
Care. Set on a heat-safe plate — as the candle burns, the skull form will gradually melt and reveal the wick. This is intentional. Trim wick before each light.

- Trim the Wick: Keep wick trimmed to 1/4 inch before every burn to prevent soot and ensure a clean flame.
- First Burn: Allow wax to melt to the edges (approx 2-3 hours) to prevent tunneling.
- Safety: Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Stop use when 1/2 inch of wax remains.
